Free online flight games with nothing to install

Most free online flight games are either a simulator demo or a reskinned arcade shooter. AviationGuesser is neither, and it is genuinely free to play in a browser: no client to download, no launcher, no storefront and no trial that expires. Open a tab, sign in, and the first live flight is waiting.

A real flight is airborne right now with its destination hidden. Eighty seconds on the clock.

What free actually covers

Quick Play, the daily challenge, multiplayer duels, the global leaderboard, the logbook, all thirty badges and the full level and lounge progression are free. That is the whole game as most people play it.

A free account exists because scores, badges and streaks are stored on the server rather than in the browser. Without an account there is nowhere to put them, and a leaderboard built on browser storage is not a leaderboard.

What Pro adds, and why it is not the game

Pro costs 19 dollars a year. It removes the daily cap on Quick Play flights, unlocks themed charters, allows practice replays of past daily challenges, adds a streak shield and extends the stats page.

None of it changes how a round is scored or gives any advantage on the leaderboard. Practice mode in particular is deliberately walled off from progression: a practice run never posts a score, never moves stats and never advances the streak.

Why browser-only was the right call

The game is eighty seconds long. Anything that puts a fifteen-minute install between a player and a round is charging more than the round is worth. Vector maps render fine on mid-range phones, the flight data is a few kilobytes, and the whole thing loads faster than a store page would.

It also means it works everywhere the browser does, and the same account carries the logbook across every device you open it on.

What to expect if free browser games have burned you before

No energy meter, no timer that has to run down before the next round, and no popup offering to skip a wait for a dollar. Quick Play has a generous daily flight cap that most players never reach, and the daily challenge and duels sit outside it entirely.

Progress is stored on the server against your account rather than in browser storage, so clearing cookies does not wipe your logbook and playing on a phone shows the same badges as playing on a laptop. That is unusual for a free browser game and it is the main reason an account is required at all.

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free with no download?

Yes. It runs in the browser, nothing is installed, and the core game costs nothing.

Why do I need an account for a free game?

Scores, badges and streaks are calculated and stored server-side. That is what keeps the leaderboard honest and lets your logbook follow you between devices.

Are there ads?

The free tier is ad-supported. Pro removes the daily flight cap and adds extra modes.

Free to play, nothing to install, and the next flight is already in the air.
