Terms of Use

1. Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of AviationGuesser on the website and in the app (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or playing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What AviationGuesser is

AviationGuesser is a game. You watch a real flight and guess where it will land. The flight data comes from public ADS-B receivers run by third parties. It can be late, incomplete, or wrong, and it is here for fun only. Never use it for navigation, flight planning, or any real aviation decision.

3. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in details safe. The details you give us must be accurate, and you must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

4. Playing fair

• Play the game yourself. No bots, scripts, or other automated play.
• No cheating, and no using bugs to gain points, XP, or leaderboard places.
• Do not try to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Keep callsigns and profiles clean: nothing offensive, and no pretending to be someone else.

We may reset scores or remove leaderboard entries that were not earned fairly.

5. Pro membership

Pro is a paid subscription. It renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time where you subscribed, for example in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds follow the rules of the store or payment provider you subscribed through.

Fair use. When Pro says "unlimited", it means unlimited for normal play, however keen a player you are. It does not mean there are no limits at all. Every round uses shared resources, such as live flight data, maps, and our servers. To keep the game fast and fair for everyone, we may slow down or pause play at a scale no person would reasonably reach in a day, such as automated play. If this happens, some rounds may not count toward your score, XP, or stats for the rest of that day. In ordinary play, you will never come near this limit.

6. Ownership

The game, its design, and its content belong to AviationGuesser, except for third-party data and imagery. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors. Satellite imagery and photos belong to their owners and are credited where they appear.

Aircraft photos. Photos of the exact aircraft come from Planespotters.net, and each is credited to its photographer. Five aircraft-model photos come from Wikimedia Commons: Maarten Visser (CC BY-SA 2.0), Aero Icarus (CC BY-SA 2.0), pjs2005 (CC BY-SA 2.0), Masakatsu Ukon (CC BY-SA 2.0) and Steve Lynes (CC BY 2.0). Some were cropped.

7. No guarantees

We work hard to keep the Service running, but we provide it "as is", without warranties of any kind. Live data may be delayed, wrong, or unavailable, and features may change. As far as the law allows, AviationGuesser is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss that comes from your use of the Service.

8. Changes

We may update the Service and these terms. When we make an important change, we will update the date at the top. If you keep playing after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
