HOW THE GUESSING WORKS
A flight guessing game where the flights are real
The flight guessing game is simple to describe and hard to stop playing. One live aircraft, eighty seconds on the clock, and a map with every airport on it. Your job is to work out where that plane is going and put a pin on it before the timer runs out.
A real flight is airborne right now with its destination hidden. Eighty seconds on the clock.
START GUESSINGEighty seconds is deliberate
It is long enough to read the aircraft and trace a heading, and short enough that you cannot open another tab and look it up. The clock is the difficulty setting. Most rounds resolve in the last twenty seconds, when you have narrowed it to two airports and have to commit to one.
There is no penalty for guessing early beyond the guess itself, and a time bonus for guessing fast. Running the clock down to zero without pinning anything scores nothing at all.
Three ways to play the same sky
Quick Play is the endless queue. One live plane after another, chained back to back for as long as you want to keep going.
The Daily Challenge is five flights, identical for every player on Earth, one attempt each. Come back tomorrow and the streak either survives or it does not.
Multiplayer is a one-versus-one duel. Both players get the same flight and the same full clock, both start on 5,000 points, and the sharper guess drains the other side down.
Guessing badly is still worth points
Distance-based scoring is what keeps a guessing game playable when the answer space is three thousand airports wide. Land the pin on the right airport and you take the full 5,000. Land it in the right metro area and you still take most of it. Land it on the right continent and you have banked something for the logbook.
Thirty badges track the shapes of your play rather than just the totals - first direct hit, airports visited, days in a row, distance covered. The profile wears them.
Frequently asked questions
How long does one round of the flight guessing game take?
Eighty seconds of clock, plus a short reveal that flies the camera along the real route and counts up your score. Call it under two minutes a round.
What happens if I run out of time?
An unplaced pin scores zero for that round. A pin dropped anywhere at all scores on distance, so a wild guess always beats no guess.
Is there a daily version?
Yes. Five hand-picked flights, the same set worldwide, one shot each, with a streak calendar and a shared scoreboard. Past days can be replayed as practice with a Pro membership, and practice runs never touch your score.
Free to play, nothing to install, and the next flight is already in the air.
